Who we are

ShamFix was founded in 2025 and is headquartered in Clifden, County Galway, Ireland. We are building an Ireland-native marketplace for home services — designed for the Irish market from the ground up, not adapted from a UK or international template.

How ShamFix works

• Subscription-only — no commission ever. Providers pay a predictable monthly fee (or join free during launch). ShamFix does not take a cut of completed jobs.
• AI concierge matching. Customers describe their job; ShamFix matches them with available verified providers instead of a manual bid-and-wait flow.
• Phase 1 verification (live). Boolean registration check: insurance and photo ID on file before a provider can receive matches.
• Phase 2 verification (roadmap). Multi-signal checks including RGI Ireland (gas), Safe Electric Ireland (electrical), and insurance validation — planned from approximately early 2027.

Where we operate

ShamFix is expanding across Ireland with a Galway hub and active coverage in Dublin and Cork. Our roadmap targets five priority cities and their commuter counties:
